1. Who we are

MyITTutor operates an online marketplace that matches students (and their parents or guardians) with independent tutors and facilitates scheduling, lesson delivery, and payment. These Terms govern your use of the platform.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must create and hold the account and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Tutors are independent

Tutors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of MyITTutor. We curate and vet tutors but do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

4. Bookings, payments & cancellations

Fees are shown before you book. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rights are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use & safeguarding

Because our learners include minors, all users must behave professionally and lawfully. Sharing personal contact details to move lessons off-platform, harassment, or any conduct that endangers a child is prohibited and may result in immediate suspension and referral to the authorities.

6. Content & conduct in lessons

Guardians and MyITTutor administrators may review lesson-related messages for safety. You retain rights to the materials you upload but grant us a licence to store and display them for the purpose of delivering the service.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyITTutor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified and the version recorded against your account. You may close your account at any time; we may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
